Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Cinnamon Waffles, Jell-O, scrambled eggs, caramel, blueberry muffins, M&M’s, most candy, coffee, tea, French Toast, doughnuts, cereal, and fruitcake:

What do all these food have in common? You’ve probably already guessed from the title of today’s blog.
ANSWER:
These are all foods that should never be married with mustard.
True, I am a mustard fanatic, but just as some fashions should never leave the runway, some foods should never mingle with mustard. It’s a tough truth to swallow, I know ☺.
There are also debatable mustard marriages. An executive chef from a hot New York restaurant might swear by his honey mustard lavender ice cream … mustard ice cream you scream? I’m not so sure about that one either. Or dark chocolate mustard truffles? They do exist believe it or not, and I’d probably try one, but I think I prefer to relish my mustard in a slightly more traditional way!
