One of Life’s Finer Pleasures

October 9, 2007 – 8:24 am

Whereas summer beckons us outdoors for backyard grilling, the shorter days and colder weather of winterpicture-1.jpg symbolize a return indoors to gather family and friends together (often in the warmth of the kitchen!) to celebrate our love for one another. And what better way to rejoice than with food!

For over 3,000 years, mustard has graced our tables. From being a royal favorite to being America’s favorite way to garnish a hotdog, the condiment has become an essential part of our culinary lives. As a mustard devotee, along with the folks at Grey Poupon Mustard I’ve created this blog so that I can share recipes and discoveries about mustard with you–from how on Earth they get such a tiny little seed to radically enhance the flavor of practically anything to all the different flavors of mustard and how you can use them in your very own kitchen.

I hope you will accompany me along the way and together we can learn how to give our loved ones a little something extra this year as we enjoy one of life’s finer pleasures with Grey Poupon Mustard.
